Our office and field staff continues to be among the very best in the industry. With a workforce of around 35 skilled employees, Dover Insulation takes pride in offering the highest quality workmanship and service. Many of Dover’s employees are long-term, with the average length-of-service at more than 15 years. The company provides employees an extensive training program, both on and off the job, and each job is staffed with capable personnel, including an experienced foreman, who is well-schooled in all applicable safety procedures. We have state-of-the-art computer equipment that has been generated in house, which makes estimating costs and analyzing a range of possibilities for each job quick and accurate.

Ted Smith, Vice President of Estimating and Projects, puts his three decades of on-the-job experience to good use in overseeing all estimating and project management for the company. He is also a Certified Insulation Energy Appraiser. Email: tsmith@doverinsulation.com.

Daniel Hargis came to Dover with 10 years of field experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC work. He heads up our removable insulation cover division, serves as an estimator and project manager, and coordinates safety education and procedures for the field employees. Melanie Dover Goodson joined the family business in 2009. Melanie has degrees in
mechanical engineering and interior design, and puts her unique skill set to good
use as a design engineer and estimator. She works on removable insulation cover

Steve Ray, Warehouse Manager, uses his extensive insulation experience to manage and maintain the company’s warehouse so our projects run smoothly and so that virtually any material need can be promptly supplied.
